SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAM

It has been reported that the level of food availability in Haiti is one of the lowest in the world. 1 in 5 Haitian children are malnourished. It is difficult or impossible for children to learn when they are hungry.

At our sponsored school in Cavaillon, we provide a hot lunch for approximately 300 students each school day. For many of these children this is the only meal they will receive that day.

For the 2018-19 school year the average cost of each meal was 29 cents.
