Caroline Allen

Caroline is part of the e=h Ecuador staff team and the e=h global communications team. She has been involved with e=h since 2014, when she first served in Ecuador with a team from her college, Sewanee. She then lived in Quito as a year-long intern, before working in youth ministry for almost 6 years in Tallahassee, Florida. During that time, she remained connected to e=h through bringing short-term teams from her youth group to serve in Ecuador, and she also returned to host the Sewanee team each year. Caroline and her husband, John, moved to Quito in September 2021, and as John says they are “living their best lives” while connecting the students and communities of Ecuador with those in the US, through short-term teams, interns, and communications. Caroline enjoys creative projects, traveling with John, cheering on the Tar Heels, and spending time outside with her dog, Zoey.
