Meet Atthaliah, one of the students in Haiti whose life you have changed through your generous support of e=h.

Atthaliah is five years old and graduated in June as the top student from her third-year kindergarten class at Saint Sauveur Episcopal School in Les Cayes, Haiti. She is a second-generation student in the e=h Les Cayes Sponsorship Program as her mother attended the Business and Technology Institute several years ago as an e=h sponsored student. Atthaliah will begin first grade at Saint Sauveur Primary School this month!

In San Ramon, we are bridging educational gaps cau

In San Ramon, we are bridging educational gaps caused by the pandemic through extra tutoring for our high school scholarship students. Last year, six students participated in University Entrance Exam Preparatory Classes in Math and English, with two of them successfully gaining admission to the University of Costa Rica for architecture and accounting studies.

Meet Jeremy, one of the students in coastal Ecuador whose life you have changed through your generous support of e=h.

Jeremy is ten years old, and is currently in sixth grade. His favorite subjects are Spanish and English. He is a sensitive child with a love for animals. He dreams of becoming a sailor in the future.

Jeremy lives with his mother, Laura and his stepfather, Homero. Unfortunately, Jeremy lost his father, who was a fisherman, when he was only three years old. His father tragically drowned while working at sea.

Jeremy's mother is studying to finish high school to improve her opportunities for better employment. She dedicates her time to taking care of Jeremy, his two younger siblings, and their home. They come from a humble background, and mostly eat fish or whatever they can afford. As a result, Jeremy and his siblings have experienced stunted growth for their age.

Despite the challenges they face, Jeremy and his family remain hopeful and grateful for the support they receive from Education Equals Hope.

Michele Dudley, e=h Country Coordinator for Rwanda

Michele Dudley, e=h Country Coordinator for Rwanda, was able to visit and spend time with the students at the Blessing School for the Visually Impaired (BSVI). During her visit, a local musician came by and spent time playing music with the children on the xylophone.

The 2022/2023 school year concluded with great success by our students.
Ministry Partners in new locations, including Madagascar and a fourth location in Haiti, have joined the e=h team.
Hope 2 Others, e=h's clean water initiative, was piloted in two communities in Kenya.
